PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Anchored by a first-round upset for Patrick Brophy (197 lbs) and reinforced with a pair of Friday consolation victories courtesy of Carson DesRosier (149 lbs) and Thomas Snipes (165 lbs), The Citadel (10-4, 6-2 SoCon) engineered a competitive performance across the opening two days at the 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships, advancing a trio of Bulldogs — Brophy, DesRosier & Snipes — through the first pair of sessions Thursday before each bowed out in sequence Friday during the consolation second round at the Wells Fargo Center.
